About The Victory Show
In 2004, two members of the team attended the 60th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy. During their visit, they conceived the idea to organise a commemorative one-day event, which ultimately became The Victory Show. The inaugural show took place in September 2005, supported by a small team, no allocated budget, and several dedicated reenactment groups.
Today, The Victory Show has expanded significantly, comprising of more than 50 team members and is recognised as the largest World War II reenactment weekend of its kind in the United Kingdom, and possibly in Europe.
This three-day annual WW2 commemorative event is held on a family run farm in Cosby, Leicestershire and welcomes attendees of all ages, from children to esteemed veterans, some of whom are now over 100 years old!
The Victory Show hosts an educational day for local school children, the largest battle reenactment in the UK, a WW2 airshow, over 150 living history displays, 300+ military vehicles both armoured and soft-skinned, as well as live entertainment, guest speakers, charities and interactive experiences suitable for all ages. All these elements can only be brought together by having a truly remarkable team that prides itself on knowledge, ability, professionalism and customer service, whilst also holding a huge passion for keeping our history alive.
